I’m Pierre-Yves Péton, with over 20 years experience in the financial sector. With automation, speed of execution and latencies became critical for best execution. I made IdeaFIX because I believed that a fresh look at an existing standard (FIX) could help achieve better results with lower hardware requirements. More efficient software means lower carbon footprint and energy savings.
It’s been exciting to research modern concurrent design and cache-friendly algorithmic too !
