V1.1.0 is released
IdeaFIX 1.1.0 has plenty of performance and reliability improvements
- Supports disabling incoming or outgoing message history to save storage and improve performances
- Optimised repeated group parsing algorithm (including embedded repeated groups)
- Reduce object churn. Benchmarks offer a mode with virtually no garbage collector execution
- Fix a case where a market data session would not recover
- Fix a case where a 32-bit instance of a JVM would not load message definitions
- Fix a memory leak in the message history loading code
- Tuned network parameters
- Memory usage improvements
- Many Javadoc updates
Benchmarks have shown improvements with a few µs gained in the RTT benchmark. JDK Requirements has been relaxed to version 17 as its adoption rate is now high.
